Windows Internet Properties

Open the Control Panel, regardless of the version of Microsoft Windows that you are managing and invoke the "Internet Properties" choice from the small or large icons view.  Click on the "Advanced" Tab, then scroll to the very bottom to reveal the selection of security protocols as shown in the image below.  Uncheck all except
TLS 1.2 at this time.  Although TLS 1.3 is coming, Windows 10 is not ready in all versions, hence cannot be enabled.  It should be noted that these settings are not limited to the obsoleted Internet Explorer.  Instead these setting affect the fundamental means used by all internet processes to perform secure transactions.
